- Full-time, temporary, night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room within a Level I Trauma Center.
- Scrub and circulate for various surgical specialties, including trauma, transplant, neuro, ortho, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotic surgeries.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, efficient surgical environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during surgical procedures.
- Document all nursing activities accurately using electronic charting systems.
- Work in a dynamic, nurse-driven department with cutting-edge technology and a magnet designation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact license.
- BLS certification; Radiation Badge (to be provided by agency).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience (strongly preferred).
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Willingness to work at least one holiday period, including Christmas and New Year’s.
- Comfortable working night shifts and adhering to block scheduling requirements (approval needed).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with surgical scrub duties across multiple specialties.
- Prior trauma or Level I trauma center experience.
- Experience with EPIC electronic charting system.
