• Full-time, Day shifts, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room for transplant and general cases
• Prepare patients for surgery, assist during procedures, and ensure patient safety
• Assist with organ transplantation procedures, including placing organs back into recipients
• Adhere to perioperative protocols using equipment such as Misonix/CUSA
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and effective operative care
• Complete required documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct LIVER/TRANSPLANT or Operating Room RN experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or Red Cross) at the time of submission
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start date)
• Proficiency in Misonix and CUSA equipment
• Valid RN license in the state of Florida

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with kidney, heart, and lung transplants reflected on skills checklist
• Experience with organ harvesting and transplant procedures
• Ability to manage time-sensitive modules and prioritize tasks efficiently
