Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days, 36-40 hours per week, 3 shifts per week (including weekend shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a surgical setting, including preparation, monitoring, and recovery of patients undergoing various procedures
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant cases, including organ placement in recipients
• Assist with multiple cases during shifts, ensuring timely and accurate patient care
• Comply with hospital protocols, including time-sensitive modules and certifications prior to assignment
• Collaborate within scope to meet facility needs and support surgical teams

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with direct liver or transplant surgery
• Proficiency in using surgical equipment such as Misonix/CUSA
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications at time of submission
• Available to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong background in transplant procedures, including organ retrieval and implantation
• Experience working in a teaching or Level Trauma facility
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
