Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shifts, 4x10-hour shifts per week, on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary supplies and equipment for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures across various age groups, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Maintain sterile environment and follow established protocols to ensure patient safety
• Function independently within established protocols and support the surgical team as needed
• Manage scrub responsibilities with proficiency and sound judgment

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (required for hires after 2009)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) specialty experience required
• BCLS certification
• Certification by an approved body (e.g., NBSTSA - CST, or NCCT - TS-C)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Significant CVOR specialty experience, which may lead to negotiable salary offers
• Ability to work effectively across diverse patient populations and clinical settings
• Proficiency in computer and keyboarding skills
