Full-time, Nights shift, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients across medical, intermediate, and ICU settings.
• Manage ventilators and respiratory equipment, including Servo U, Servo I, LTV Trilogy ventilators, and ResMed S9 CPAP/BiPAP units.
• Document treatments and patient care using the AARC point system, aiming for approximately 26-28 points daily.
• Follow clinical protocols and collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and team leads to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to specific department policies, including orientation and documentation requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Respiratory Therapist license or confirmation of application initiation.
• Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• BLS certification.
• Experience caring for patients in large critical care facilities (300+ beds).
• Ability to operate advanced respiratory equipment and treatments.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Recent work in a large ICU or critical care unit within the past year.
• Prior experience with EPIC electronic health records and vent management.
• Familiarity with high-flow oxygen therapy devices such as Fisher Paykel.
