- Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in a Level II Trauma Center
- Assess, monitor, and treat patients requiring respiratory support using advanced equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory equipment
- Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license or registration
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2+ years of ICU or related respiratory therapy experience
- Current certification in NRP or STABLE (preferred or nice to have)
- Experience with Meditech electronic medical record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, Vapotherm equipment
- Strong patient care skills and adaptability to hospital environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
