Key Responsibilities

• Circulate during surgical procedures in various specialties including orthopedics, general, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, and thoracic.
• Assist in maintaining sterile environments and ensuring patient safety during surgeries.
• Provide compassionate care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including technologists and physicians, to deliver efficient operative care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Fulfill rotating call requirements, including one night per week and one weekend every five weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nursing license in Texas.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• OR circulator experience.
• Ability to fulfill rotating call schedule.
• Proficiency with basic OR equipment such as cautery, video monitors, arthroscopy equipment, and positioning tools.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedic, general, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, or thoracic surgery.
• Prior exposure to Meditech EMR system.
