Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Tuba City, AZ
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shift, 4 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative care to patients in various specialty areas including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Dental.
• Serve as a circulating nurse, assisting with procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Assist with scrubbing in for surgeries to gain experience in different surgical procedures.
• Prepare for emergency cases and be available to work varied, sometimes odd hours when on call.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate patient care outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid, current, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association within six months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification completed within 6 months of hire.
• Certification as a Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) from the Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI), to be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification within two years of hire.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of two years of clinical or operating room nursing experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Circulating and scrubbing experience in multiple surgical specialties.
• Knowledge of community healthcare services on Native American reservations.
