Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room setting during scheduled procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout surgical processes.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any intraoperative changes.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Document patient information and surgical details accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- At least 13 weeks of OR nursing experience
- Ability to work day shifts in a fast-paced medical environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a surgical or operating room setting
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of updated surgical protocols and safety procedures
