Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for adult patients in an inpatient PACU setting
- Monitor patient vitals and recovery progress, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth patient transitions and discharge
- Float between multiple facilities and departments as needed, including outpatient surgery centers and other nearby hospitals
- Adhere to hospital protocols, including charting and documentation using Epic or equivalent systems
- Assist with patient assessments, interventions, and prepare patients for discharge or transfer
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of PACU or related perioperative experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Valid California license in hand (pending license accepted is not applicable)
- Experience with Epic charting system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in inpatient acute PACU settings
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
