• Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols.
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, monitor and adjust ventilator settings, and manage arterial lines.
• Initiate and maintain IV access, administer continuous IV sedation, and titrate cardiac drips.
• Care for ventilated patients, including ventilator management and responsive patient assessments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality critical care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, and cardiac events.
• Adhere to infection control standards and maintain accurate documentation for patient records.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana, in-hand prior to start date.
• Minimum of 18 months of ICU nursing experience.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS.
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Proficiency in ventilator management, arterial line management, and IV starting skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience handling complex critical care cases such as sepsis, CHF, COVID-19, STEMI, and surgical ICU cases.
• Knowledge of IABP and CVVHD is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities.
