Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care within a dialysis unit, managing acute and chronic cases.
- Monitor patient vitals and adjust treatments accordingly to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans for dialysis patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, including certification requirements.
- Float within hospital or to affiliated facilities as needed, supporting various units within the hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in state of Indiana, in hand prior to start date.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in dialysis or related units.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
- Experience with apheresis equipment, dialysis procedures, central lines, and ports.
- Ability to work 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM).
- Clear background check and current references.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in units such as GVHD, BO, CTCL, or Photopheresis.
- Knowledge of advanced dialysis equipment and protocols.
- Flexibility to float across hospital units as needed.
