Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week contract, day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), weekdays, 3 shifts per week, onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical surgical patients in a busy hospital setting
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist with patient mobility and comfort
• Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical records system
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment following hospital policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Valid LVN/LPN license in Texas or the ability to obtain one
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least 1 year of recent hospital or medical-surgical nursing experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work full shift (12 hours) on dayshift

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Experience with Meditech electronic medical record system
• Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments and follow hospital protocols
