Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms, responding to cardiac events promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Work at least every other holiday as part of the rotating schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel.
• Valid Ohio or compact state license in hand.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications active and current.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Willing to work 12-hour day or night shifts, including rotating schedules if necessary.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with hospital electronic health record systems such as Lotus/Qualivis.
• Prior travel or contract experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
