Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care for medical surgical and telemetry patients, including trauma, ortho, and urology cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed to ensure optimal patient coverage
• Adhere to all safety and clinical protocols, maintaining compliance with hospital policies
• Document patient care activities accurately within the electronic medical record (Meditech)

Required Qualifications
• Active Alabama Registered Nurse license or Compact license
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant clinical experience (or 18 months with high-level licensing), including at least 1 year in a specialized setting

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in trauma, surgical, orthopedic, or urology units
• Ability to float between units and adapt to different patient care environments
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills
