- Travel, Nights shift, 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dialysis nursing care to patients in a hospital setting.
- Float between hospital units and other facilities as needed.
- Prepare and perform bedside and peritoneal dialysis treatments using Fresenius or Gambro equipment.
- Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios (1:2 or 1:3 with CCHT).
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and patient care standards.
- Document treatments accurately within the electronic medical record system.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license valid in Alabama or with a compact license.
- Associated degree in nursing (ASN or BSN).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including at least one year in dialysis.
- Experience with dialysis equipment such as Fresenius or Gambro preferred; training provided if necessary.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Professional nursing certification related to dialysis (preferred).
- Ability to adapt to various hospital units and work collaboratively in a team.
