Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity nursing care for patients in intermediate care, progressive care, or stepdown units.
• Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and support patients with complex medical needs.
• Manage advanced respiratory support including BiPAP, CPAP, and High-Flow Nasal Cannula.
• Administer IV insulin protocols, blood products, and vasoactive medications with careful titration.
• Assist with post-procedure recovery including kidney biopsies and paracentesis.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and utilize Pyxis medication system.

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license (compact licenses accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a stepdown or PCU setting.
• Strong telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with renal and liver transplant patient care is preferred.
• Ability to manage IV therapy, blood products, and high-acuity interventions.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Transplant patient care experience.
• Experience with renal or hepatic transplants and post-procedure recovery.
• Familiarity with advanced respiratory devices and vasoactive medication management.

• Shift: Night, 12 hours
• Travel compliance required: candidates outside Ohio must complete fingerprinting immediately upon booking.
