• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location
• Lewiston, ME
Schedule / Job Type
• Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, full-time
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct and indirect patient care within the emergency department, following the nursing process.
• Assess patients upon admission and throughout their stay, delivering appropriate interventions.
• Administer IV medications, therapies, and blood products as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on treatments and care plans.
• Document nursing actions, observations, and patient responses accurately.
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of Maine.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in emergency or trauma setting preferred.
• Strong ability to assess and respond to emergency situations efficiently.
