Job Title

• Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Emergency Department

Location

• Dallas, TX

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment
• Dayshift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Shifts per week: 3

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care for pediatric patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform procedures such as bronchiolitic scoring, respiratory arrest management, noninvasive and invasive ventilation.
• Utilize pediatric-specific respiratory equipment and EMR systems.
• Collaborate with the ED team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Follow unit policies and safety guidelines, maintaining high standards of patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license or certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to perform pediatric critical care procedures.
• Proficiency with respiratory equipment and EMR systems (Meditech preferred).
• Flexibility to float to pediatric spaces as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in pediatric critical care or emergency settings.
• Knowledge of pediatric respiratory procedures and protocols.
• Comfortable working with high-acuity patients and fast-paced environments.
