Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, 13-week travel assignment, full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled telemetry monitoring and intervention for adult patients with cardiac conditions.
• Assess patient status, respond to changes in cardiac rhythms, and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed, including IV antibiotics and tube feeds.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards, including attending shift huddles and proper clocking procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Ability to perform telemetry rhythm interpretation and critical thinking.
• Strong communication skills and punctuality for shift start times.
• Flexibility to float to other med-surg units when necessary.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification.
• Experience with adult medical-surgical and telemetry patient care.
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support colleagues.
