Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Nights shift, 12.5-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for telemetry units supporting cardiac monitoring and telemetry procedures.
• Monitor and respond to patient remote telemetry alerts utilizing Cerner Patient Observation and VC150 monitors.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Prepare patients for procedures such as Endoscopy, IR, and OR as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Follow unit policies and protocols to uphold safety and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a telemetry or med-surg setting.
• Ability to work night shifts and handle fast-paced environments.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Leadership or charge nurse experience.
• BSN degree.
• Experience with medical remote telemetry monitoring and Cerner EMR.
