Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intensive Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown units.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records (Cerner).
• Float to other units as needed, maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
• At least 2 years of recent experience as an RN in a PCU, IMC, or stepdown setting.
• Telemetry competency required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical procedures.
• Positive attitude, compassionate approach, team player, and patient-focused.
