Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, days, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room for a variety of surgical procedures including cardiac, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, gynecology, and robotics.
- Assist surgical team during procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies.
- Document patient care and surgical details accurately in Meditech system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure efficient perioperative processes.
- Support patients’ experience and comfort before, during, and after surgery.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
- Ability to handle advanced surgical procedures and equipment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic surgeries (DaVinci, Mako).
- Knowledge of Level I trauma center operations.
