Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Float to different units as needed, including dementia care units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Work every other weekend or as scheduled to meet unit coverage needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN or LPN license
- BLS certification through AHA
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience in LTC or SNF environments required
- Willingness to float across units, including dementia care units
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Comfortable working with dementia patients
- Reliable transportation (personal or rental vehicle) with all-season or snow tires from November to April
- Ability to explain employment gaps over 90 days if applicable
