Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through assessment, treatment, and planning to maximize patient functional outcomes.
• Design and implement individualized therapy programs based on thorough evaluations and collaborate with patients and their significant others.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress regularly, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to optimize patient recovery and overall care coordination.
• Maintain professional growth by engaging in continuing education, in-service meetings, and staying current with industry literature.
• Uphold hospital policies, safety procedures, infection control standards, and organizational values.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current Washington State license from the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or in the process of obtaining it.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional literature, and communicate clearly both in writing and verbally.
• Ability to interpret instructions and solve practical problems effectively.
• Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role, with accommodations available if needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least one year of experience as a licensed physical therapist preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and engage with patients.
• Knowledge of clinical standards and best practices in physical therapy.
