Key Responsibilities
• Perform quality and efficient radiologic procedures, primarily Computed Tomography (CT), for diagnostic interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety by practicing radiation safety and adhering to ALARA standards, including verifying pregnancy status when necessary.
• Operate imaging equipment according to manufacturer’s recommendations and departmental protocols.
• Assist with patient education, preparation, and transportation, while providing a positive patient experience.
• Complete quality control procedures, troubleshoot equipment issues, and notify management of any malfunctions.
• Support clerical duties such as documentation, order entry, and maintaining supply inventory.
• Rotate to assist with other imaging modalities as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate departmental needs.

Required Qualifications
• At least 16 years of age, with the ability to legally work in the United States.
• Current BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days).
• ARRT certification in Radiology and CT (or eligible and able to obtain within 1 year).
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
• Effective communication skills and familiarity with electronic record systems such as PACS and RIS/HIS.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience as a radiologic technologist, particularly with CT procedures.
• Ability to cross-train into additional imaging modalities like MRI, DEXA, or Mammography.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and healthcare information systems.
