Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, dayshift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatments for residents with temporary or long-term disabilities to promote healing and improve function
• Deliver treatments according to established care plans under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Record treatments provided and monitor patient progress in medical records
• Support and educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy interventions
• Ensure all treatments comply with company policies and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior clinical experience in a healthcare or therapy setting (not required)
• Compassionate approach when working with patients
• Physical stamina to assist with patient movement and exercises
