Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled patients to maximize functional status.
  • Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs.
  • Participate in discharge planning and perform administrative duties.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and pursue ongoing professional growth.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Idaho Occupational Therapist license (must be attached to submission).
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must be attached to submission).
  • Minimum of 2 years recent hospital-based OT experience, preferably with acute rehab.
  • Ability to work daytime shifts, 9 hours per shift, Wednesday through Saturday.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working in community hospital settings, either permanently or on contract.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
