Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled patients to maximize functional status.
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs.
- Participate in discharge planning and perform administrative duties.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and pursue ongoing professional growth.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Idaho Occupational Therapist license (must be attached to submission).
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must be attached to submission).
- Minimum of 2 years recent hospital-based OT experience, preferably with acute rehab.
- Ability to work daytime shifts, 9 hours per shift, Wednesday through Saturday.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in community hospital settings, either permanently or on contract.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
