Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care nursing for IMC/PCU/Stepdown patients with diagnoses such as SBO, fall, laceration, PNA, head injury, TBI, trauma, ileus, fistula, and fractures.
• Perform IV starts, patient monitoring, labs, medication administration, and patient education.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation.
• Ensure compliance with unit protocols for telemetry and patient safety.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies specific to the unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid compact or state RN license in Ohio or another Compact state.
• At least 2 years of experience in PCU or similar acute care settings.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong nursing skills including IV starts, patient monitoring, and medication administration.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in telemetry and telemetry monitoring.
• Familiarity with Ohio fingerprinting and credentialing process.
• Previous work in a teaching hospital or academic medical center.
