Location
- Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care within Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including float assignments to different units as needed
- Perform IV starts, telephonic assessments, and other clinical procedures
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards
- Coordinate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care during night shifts
- Complete documentation accurately and promptly
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Medical Surgical (MedSurg) experience
- Valid compact or state nursing license in Ohio or a license recognized for multi-state mobility
- Proficiency in IV Starts and Telemetry
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks promptly
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with hospital float pools and unit versatility
- Familiarity with Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work night shifts and rotating schedule
