• Contract, Days shift, 5 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting.
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including CABG, MVR, AVR, TVR, ECMO, TAVR, TCAR, Impella insertion/removal, and thoracic/lung surgeries.
• Ensure proper preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care within the CVOR.
• Administer emergency medications and interventions as needed.
• Maintain compliance with safety and clinical standards, including Epic charting and competency exams.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and support staff to ensure efficient patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Valid state RN license (TN or Compact license accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years’ perioperative nursing experience in a surgical or CVOR setting.
• Recent Epic experience (within the last 12 months) and pass a competency exam.
• Ability to work days, with a 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM shift.
• Must include all certifications and references at submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience handling complex cardiovascular surgeries such as TAVR, ECMO, or Impella.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-procedure CVOR environment.
• Flexibility to float, if necessary, within hospital protocols.
