- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sleep studies and polysomnography procedures.
- Monitor and record patient sleep patterns and physiological data during overnight shifts.
- Ensure accurate data collection and adherence to hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with medical staff to assess patient sleep conditions.
- Maintain equipment and prepare reports post-shift.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensed Polysomnographer or Sleep Tech certification (e.g., RPSGT preferred).
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a challenging overnight schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and technical skills.
- Knowledge of sleep study procedures and equipment.
- Compliance with travel and licensing requirements, including SSN submission.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience performing sleep studies in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Familiarity with South Carolina licensing requirements for Sleep Techs.
- Ability to handle emergency protocols during night shifts.
