Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory conditions to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions in accordance with physician prescriptions.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Document patient assessments and treatments accurately in medical records.
• Participate in patient education regarding respiratory health and post-treatment care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Proven competency in using respiratory equipment and delivering therapies.
• Strong patient assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule, including every other weekend.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting.
• Familiarity with new and advanced respiratory equipment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Additional Details

• Compensation includes a fee-based placement service, with a salary range of $39 to $43.35 per hour.
• This position offers an 8.5-hour shift schedule in a 101-bed LTAC facility.
