Job Title

• Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 shifts per week, Days, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical telemetry unit focusing on cardiac conditions.
• Monitor and assess structural heart patients, managing their ongoing care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with hospital policies.
• Float within different units as needed to support patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid PA RN license or Compact license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a similar setting.
• COVID vaccination and booster shots required.
• Ability to obtain necessary certifications for the specific unit.
• Compliance with medical and hospital policies, including background checks.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown units handling cardiac and structural heart patients.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to float between units as needed.

Additional Notes

• Travel compliance requirements include SSN, DOB, fingerprinting, drug screening, and specific certifications.
• Shifts are scheduled on a rotating basis: one week of days and one week of nights, no shift switching within the same week.
• No call responsibilities.
• Must be willing to float within the hospital when necessary.
• Candidates should ensure timely fingerprinting, drug screening, and compliance to avoid start delays.
