• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a Medical Oncology Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor and manage high-acuity patients, including those with solid tumors, orthopedic, and thoracic cancers.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as GE telemetry systems, PCA pumps, and external CPAP/BIPAP.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and patient safety measures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and respond promptly to emergency situations.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or state license) in Ohio or appropriate state.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or high-acuity units.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• ACLS and NIH certifications preferred.
• Experience interpreting dysrhythmias and managing cardiac drips.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Travel or agency nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and monitoring.
• Skills in wound care, PICC line management, and invasive airway management.
• Ability to interpret ABGs and manage complex patient needs.
