Job Title

• 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 33-bed medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor and document patient conditions using Meditechs documentation system.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, techs, and secretaries to ensure efficient unit operations.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort by filling out whiteboards and adhering to hospital standards.
• Follow unit-specific policies and guidelines, including float policies and scheduling requests.
• Support team efforts to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Basic medical-surgical nursing knowledge.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts and accept requests for time off.
• Standard scrubs in navy blue, black, royal blue, or gray.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Familiarity with Meditechs documentation system.
• Strong team collaboration skills and flexibility with floating.
