Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Float to various units as needed, including dementia care units.
• Work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies and procedures.
• Document resident care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Active Vermont RN license.
• BLS certification through AHA.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including LTC.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to float between units as needed.
• Comfortable working with dementia patients.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with LTC/SNF settings.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.
• Reliable transportation, personal or rental vehicle with all-season/snow tires during November–April.
• Experience working in a facility with diverse resident needs.
