- Full-time, onsite, 8-hour day shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
- Support other imaging technologists as needed and facilitate smooth patient flow.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues, participate in quality assurance, and ensure image processing and archiving are accurate.
- Adhere to safety protocols for radiation, personnel, and patient protection, including handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals.
- Maintain accurate logs and complete required tests in compliance with licensing standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working additional shifts or at other campus locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (ARRT NM or NMTCB).
- State licensure for Texas (MRT by TMBBLS or equivalent).
- Basic computer skills.
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a clinical nuclear medicine environment.
- Knowledge of PACS systems and downtime procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and participate in QA processes.
