Job Title

• Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, onsite, 8-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
• Support other imaging technologists as needed and facilitate smooth patient flow.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues, participate in quality assurance, and ensure image processing and archiving are accurate.
• Adhere to safety protocols for radiation, personnel, and patient protection, including handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain accurate logs and complete required tests in compliance with licensing standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working additional shifts or at other campus locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (ARRT NM or NMTCB).
• State licensure for Texas (MRT by TMBBLS or equivalent).
• Basic computer skills.
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a clinical nuclear medicine environment.
• Knowledge of PACS systems and downtime procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and participate in QA processes.
