Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts (7PM - 7AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the obstetrical team in patient care and surgical procedures, including C-sections, within labor and delivery.
- Ensure safety and sterility protocols are followed, reporting any breaches or safety concerns.
- Prepare and manage surgical supplies and equipment according to surgeon preferences and procedural requirements.
- Maintain accurate patient records, monitor vital signs, and provide personal patient care as delegated.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and participate in safety initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, communicating patient needs and procedural updates.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification via American Heart Association (AHA).
- Surgical tech experience, preferably with C-section procedures.
- Ability to float to other departments as needed.
- No certification required, CNA experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work the night shift (7PM - 7AM).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least one year of surgical or obstetric support experience.
- Experience in a hospital setting, specifically in labor and delivery.
- Familiarity with sterile techniques and surgical equipment.

Additional Details
