Job Title

• Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures Technician

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, dayshift, 10.5-hour shifts with on-call

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in interventional radiology procedures, including stroke, trauma, thrombectomy, atherectomy, TIPS, EVAR, PE, and stroke interventions
• Support patient care in a high-acuity, level 1 trauma center environment
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging and interventional equipment
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols, including dress code requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC Cupid system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, and tech staff

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a radiology or special procedures technician
• Proven experience in IR or interventional procedures, including stroke and trauma care
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work 10.5-hour days and participate in on-call rotation
• Strong technical skills with IR equipment and procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, Jet Stream equipment
• Knowledge of critical care GTT management and high-acuity patient care
• Previous work in a hospital setting with ICU or ER experience
