Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional physical therapy services including developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Supervise and train therapy staff, including hourly and contract personnel.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, manual therapy, hydrotherapy, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and taping.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, use of assistive devices, balance and gait training, and postural re-education.
• Monitor patient progress, modify treatments as needed, and document outcomes in reports.
• Oversee departmental operations, including scheduling, inventory, and budget management.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure in the State of Washington.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical physical therapy experience.
• At least 3 years of management experience in a rehabilitation therapy department.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience supervising staff in a healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
