Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Mids (2pm-10pm), 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in LTC/SNF settings, ensuring quality standards are met
• Work every other weekend and holiday, with guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Support patient needs with attention to safety, comfort, and compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care and document appropriately
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures while delivering compassionate care

Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN or RN license in the state of Iowa
• At least 12 weeks of related experience preferred
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift from 2pm to 10pm
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compliance with healthcare standards and safety protocols

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in LTC or SNF environments
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a clinical setting

Important Notes

• 80-mile local placement area; local adjusted bill rate: $8.00, overtime $8.00
• No charge differential at Good Samaritan facilities
• No on-call or callback duties
• A $500 fee applies if the clinician backs out or resigns with less than 14 days’ notice
• If GSS housing is used, local rates apply
• Clinical work guarantee of 36-40 hours per week, depending on shift length
• Work week runs from Sunday through Saturday
