Full-time, day shift, onsite, 36 hours per week, with every weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care primarily on a Medical Surgical unit, with occasional float to various Med-Surg units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and Emergency Department/Med-Surg border areas.
• Work primarily on the 4 South Cardiac unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Deliver care using the Epic EMR system, demonstrating proficiency as required.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and be able to read telemetry strips accurately; competency will be tested on the first day.
• Follow established protocols and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations, including BLS and ACLS certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS certification
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience in Telemetry and/or Stepdown units
• Proficiency in Epic EMR system (refresher courses or one-on-one training not provided)
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry data, with competency testing on day one required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working across multiple Med-Surg units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, or Respiratory
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
