Key Responsibilities
- Oversee patient care delivery through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
- Coordinate and direct nursing staff and support personnel to ensure quality patient care and compliance with practice standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide cost-effective, efficient, and quality care aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.
- Serve as a resource for staff, applying age-specific and cultural considerations in patient care across all age groups.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to facility policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska.
- Completion of a nursing program approved by an NLN-accredited institution.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least 4 years of charge nurse experience in a clinic or urgent care setting.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing processes, and care management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently within prescribed limits.
