Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Spokane, WA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shifts (5x8 hours)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center and Pediatric Trauma Center.
• Float between units as needed, demonstrating competence in all neurosurgical procedures, including craniotomies and complex spine surgeries.
• Adhere to on-call schedule, requiring availability once per week and one weekend every six weeks.
• Maintain appropriate patient ratios, typically 1:1 during surgery.
• Follow hospital policies and protocols, utilizing Epic for charting.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Washington or Compact RN license required at the time of application.
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 6 months within the last three years in a similar specialty setting.
• Fully competent in neurosurgical procedures, with the ability to float within the OR as needed.
• Ability to meet travel compliance requirements and submit necessary documentation before the start date.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience working in a Short Term Acute Care or Level II Trauma facility.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Knowledge of hospital policies regarding float and on-call responsibilities.
