Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 5 days per week, Day shifts (8 hours per shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care within the Operating Room for various surgical specialties including orthopedics, urology, general, ENT, ophthalmology, podiatry, and pain management.
• Assist with pre-operative preparations and post-operative care of patients.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, maintaining sterile procedures and ensuring patient safety.
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as required.
• Follow facility and compliance protocols, including charting in Epic and adhering to travel and certification requirements.
• Work day shifts and be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of operating room nursing experience.
• Ability to work day shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM).
• Experience with Epic or equivalent charting systems.
• Must be willing to float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to different hospital environments and float as needed.
