- Full-time, 3x12 Night shifts (19:00 - 07:00), travel assignments
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy within NICU or PICU units, with experience in children's hospital settings.
- Assume assigned responsibilities in neonatal or pediatric intensive care units, ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols.
- Float between units including PICU, Peds, and other acute care areas as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.
- Obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses prior to start.
Required Qualifications
- Indiana State Respiratory Therapist license in hand prior to start date.
- Minimum of 2 years recent NICU or PICU experience, preferably within children’s hospital settings.
- Must have recent inpatient pediatric or neonatal intensive care experience (within last 3 years).
- BLS, ACLS, NBRC RRT, and NRP certifications (NRP preferred for certain units).
- Experience with Level 1 adult facilities is also considered.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PALS certification is preferred.
- Experience with hospital floating requirements and compliance policies.
- Skilled in managing diverse patient needs in neonatal and pediatric environments.
