Job Title
• Sterile Processing Technician
Location
• Everett, WA
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 5x8 evening shifts (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), rotating weekends, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and trays in a high-volume hospital setting
• Assist in the assembly and processing of sterilized equipment for various specialties including neuro, ortho, robotics, pediatrics, URO, general, and GYN
• Ensure adherence to infection control standards and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other departments to ensure timely delivery of sterile supplies
• Support the department's teaching environment by participating in training modules and self-directed learning
• Float within the hospital or to nearby facilities as needed
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years sterile processing experience in an acute hospital setting
• Certification in CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA
• Proven experience with trauma/implants, loaner trays, and EPIC charting systems
• WA state license (or valid compact license for RNs) if applicable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with supply chain knowledge
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center
• Familiarity with neuro, orthopedic, robotics, and pediatric surgical instrumentation
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to pick cases efficiently
