Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to hospitalized patients in a rehab setting
• Conduct swallowing and language evaluations and treatments, including stroke patient care
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Vital Stim, AmpCare, MBSS with TIMS, and FEES
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in the Meditech Expanse system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including OT, PT, and other healthcare professionals
• Float to acute hospital units as needed based on census and staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or inpatient rehab setting
• Experience with stroke evaluation and treatment
• Ability to perform swallowing and language procedures
• Certification(s) appropriate for speech therapy practice (none specified as required)
• Must adhere to hospital dress code (black scrubs with royal blue top preferred)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with hospital equipment such as Vital Stim, AmpCare, MBSS, and FEES
