Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Glenview, IL
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, approximately 36 hours per week, with every other weekend requirement and rotating holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients in a hospital setting
- Provide high-quality nursing care to ortho and surgical patients
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered treatment
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure accurate documentation
- Float to other units such as Highland Park, Evanston, or Skokie as needed
- Respond to patient needs promptly and effectively
Required Qualifications:
- Active Illinois RN license
- ACLS, NIHSS, and BLS certifications
- Experience with ortho and surgical patients
- Ability to pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher on the first day
- Availability to start within 2 weeks of an accepted offer
- Must attend orientation on Monday prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Prior telemetry nursing experience
- Ability to work flexible float assignments
